We’ll miss you, Jane

Jane Jacobs, author of the most influential book on urbanism of the 20th Century and matron saint to city planners everywhere, died yesterday at the age of 89. It’s because of Jane’s work that we understand what makes places like Georgetown so beloved and places like Boston’s City Hall so despised.

Rest in peace.

So? Why is G'Town beloved while Boston city hall is reviled?

I'm far too lazy for that.
