Where is Commodore Norrington when you need him?

It seems there is a pirate problem around the Horn of Africa. In June a UN aid ship was hijacked and held hostage, and just this weekend a cruise liner was attacked. Although the liner Seabourn Spirit was able to escape, the confrontation illustrates a growing boldness among Somalian pirate groups, who have made at least 25 such attacks since March.

All sorts of Pirates of the Caribbean and ninja jokes are running through my head, but really what can I say to make this any more tastelessly awesome than it already is? As Dustin Hoffman once tried to convince Robin Williams, the world is just a more interesting place when it has pirates.
