Spontaneous self portrait

My photographic style is generally inviting, cordial if not always festive. Maybe I’m just not angst-ridden enough, but even my pictures of cold and depressing subjects such as ground zero usually have an optimistic undertone.

This picture is I suppose not an exception, considering how I could not help but warm up the colors to balance the stark composition... But still, it’s an odd choice for a self portrait.
