That is, in case you haven't figured it out, the unofficial GOP theme song and slogan. President Bush, Secretary Rummy, et al, who would just as soon Americans not think about war casualties or SCOTUS qualifications, have been singing it for 5 years, and now congressman Tom DeLay is joining the chorus. The photo below is Mr. DeLay’s mug shot, taken at his Thursday booking in the Harris County, TX sheriff’s office. Smiling makes it all go away, right?
Congressman DeLay hopes voters will care
more about his smile than ethics.

That picture annoys me. So does the thing in the picture. But a mugshot is not supposed to be a happy occasion.
