Mars attacks

Clicking = meh
DNA? We don’t need no stinkin’ DNA!
In the Summer of 2001 a strange, blood-colored series of rain showers fell over Kerala, India. The leading explanation: Extra terrestrial microbes from a meteor that broke up in the atmosphere. Really. (story)

The red cell-like structures are unique from anything else seen on Earth. They look and reproduce like bacteria, but unlike all known life forms, have absolutely no DNA. They can also survive in water superheated to 600 degrees Fahrenheit, 350 degrees warmer than the known upper limit. Space alien or not, they are a totally new phenomenon.

Have we finally discovered aliens? Did life on Earth begin after being seeded in such a manner? Has life from Earth seeded other worlds? My mind is atwitter with the possibilities.
