Sorry about the finger. It happens.
This was the scene Saturday evening in Dupont Circle. I don’t know what was going on, as I was there to meet a friend for dinner, but as you can see the circle was filled with dozens of Santas. Big Santas, little Santas, boy Santas, girl Santas, traditional bearded Santas and “fabulous” drag Santas. Every sort of Santa you could imagine, all clustered around the iced-over fountain having a very merry time.
Here’s to unexpected shenanigans... and also to cell phone cameras.
